This will be quick. I just wanted to let everyone know that I've added a page up top about The Ranch--the fantasy resort in my Loving on the Edge series. There are pictures, a quick note from Grant, and then at the bottom links to inspiration photos (aka mancandy) for all the heroes in the books.

And thanks to everyone who weighed in on the "should I change my website?" post on Tuesday. So far the opinions have been pretty evenly divided with a slight edge to keeping the current design. I might end up with some hybrid version. But regardless, I hope to be adding more interesting stuff to the website and this Ranch page is the start of it.

Cover Reveal for FALL INTO YOU!!!

It's that time again. Cover reveal time!!! I've been dying to share this one and finally got the word that I could release it out into the world.

Here it is, Grant's story...

Isn't it the smexiest thing ever? I love that it looks like it's in the setting sun--which fits since Grant's a cowboy and so much of the story takes place at The Ranch.

Also, I think the theme of my covers is creative hand placement. They all seem to have that. I bow down to the art department at Berkley Heat. They rock. And how about that tag line? It gives me the hot shivers. :)

And now do you want to know what this one is about? Here's the back cover blurb reveal as well:

When tomboy sports reporter Charli Beaumonde loses a dream TV job because she’s not girly enough for primetime, she’s determined to land a big scoop and prove her boss made a mistake. But when she gets too close to a football scandal and finds her life threatened, Charli accepts an offer from family friend Grant Waters to hide out at his place—even if Grant predicts nothing but trouble from his buddy’s hard-headed, uncompromising, irrepressible, younger sister. Grant’s “place” is The Ranch, a BDSM resort in Texas, and he’s used to being in charge —even if that means trying to keep Charli in line. I didn't plan on blogging today, but both Tiffany Reisz and Candace Havens tagged me with the #777 Challenge, so here I go.

And here's the 777 excerpt from my current WIP - FALL INTO YOU (Grant's Story):

She shook her head. “Please. Don’t. If you say some pitying comment, I’m going to punch you in the face.”

His shoulders rose and fell with his heavy sigh. “That’s not what I was going to do.”

She stepped around him, walking to the window on the far side of the room and putting her back to him. “Right.”

She heard his boots against the floor as he turned around, but he didn’t come any closer. “Believe what you want, but let me say my piece. Since the night I found you out on the road, I haven’t stopped imagining what it would be like to get you in my bed. Every time you talk back  to me, I want hush you up in all kinds of creative ways. And that night you stripped in the bathroom, it took every letter of my moral code to walk out.”

A #SixSunday Excerpt from Grant's Story

Today I'm sharing a snippet from my current work in progress, book 3 in The Loving on the Edge series. Grant is the owner of the BDSM retreat (The Ranch) that plays a prominent role in my books.

EXCERPT from Book 3 (untitled) (Copyright 2011, Roni Loren, All Rights Reserved, The Berkley Publishing Group)

Setup: Grant's in a honky-tonk bar trying to track down the heroine and some guy bumps into him and tries to pick a fight.

This is why he avoided places like this. There was always some jerkoff trying to impress a woman by looking like a badass. He’d love to see a guy like this try to survive one night at The Ranch. The submissives would smell that false bravado from a mile away, and the Dommes would line up to cure him of it.

Grant tipped the brim of his hat up and looked down at the guy. “You say something, hoss?”
